The Rights and Liberties Party (Hak ve Özgürlükler Partisi - HAK-PAR) was founded on 11 February 2002. It is one the parties founded as an alternative to the Kurdish party DEHAP by Abdulmelik Firat. There is a continuing case of closure in the Constitutional Court for that party too, since it demanded federation for Kurds and some people made speech in Kurdish during its congress. These parties (DEP, HADEP, DEHAP, HAK-PAR, SDP, ÖTP...) are short-lived and are founded to carry on the movement during the court case of a previously founded party.

The flag of the party (website) is red with the emblem of the party.
